Our Mission Statement
Our event was created to help children who are fighting cancer at the nationally recognized American Family Children's Hospital / UW Carbone Cancer Center in Madison WI. Participants in our event share a passion for children, community involvement and fishing. We are now in our eighth year raising money for the hospital, and we are proud to announce that we have raised over $1,195,000 so far!! Please help us out by attending our event or donating to Casting for Kids!
Where is it?
The tournament headquarters is at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison, WI. The fishing tournament will take place on lakes Kegonsa, Monona, Mendota and Waubesa.
When is it?
The next Casting for Kids event will take place on May 15th, 2027.

Casting for Kids would like to thank every Guide, Volunteer, Committee Member, Sponsor, Donar, Participant, Guest, Auctioneer and Photographer! Because of your support of Casting for Kids 2026, we raised over $220,000 and helped us achieve just under $1.2 million rasied. Thank you!
