What is Casting for Kids?
Casting for Kids is a catch and release fishing tournament where all proceeds benefit the American Family Children's Hospital / UW Carbone Cancer Center.
Where is it?
The tournament headquarters is at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison, WI. The fishing tournament will take place on lakes Kegonsa, Monona, Mendota and Waubesa.
When is it?
The next Casting for Kids event will take place on May 20th, 2023.

Our Mission Statement
Our event was created to help children who are fighting cancer at the nationally recognized American Family Children's Hospital / UW Carbone Cancer Center. Participants in our event share a passion for children, community involvement and fishing. We raise money by asking local fishing guides to take participants out fishing (including National and local celebrities) in a tournament format. In addition, the Casting for Kids event includes a fundraising dinner and both silent and live auctions with net proceeds being donated to the American Family Children's Hospital / UW Carbone Cancer Center.
